Hey, it's Atarius (uh-tah-ree-us).👋 I'm a choreographer and design consultant. I enjoy connecting the dots in our lives to create rich, diverse stories.
My choreography is athletic in nature but ultimately holds the "process" as king. I enjoy setting new work. I enjoy being in process. My movement explores "micro-batics" fueled by emotional agility. My style ranges from contemporary to dance theatre and musical theatre.

My methods cross between modalities stemming from musical theatre, contemporary dance, and martial arts. I teach floor work safety combined with explosive movements.

I'm an Atlanta-based creative originally from Mississippi. By day, I'm a visual designer and web developer for an amazing consulting firm. By night, I'm a choreographer, performer, and the Artistic Director of ALAÂ Dance. My work sits at the intersection of lineage connection and somatic healing.
